MOBA is proud to celebrate one of our distinguished Old Boys — Dr. Samuel Onyango (Class of 1988) — on his appointment as Head of the Cardiology Department at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.
Dr. Onyango has served the hospital for over 20 years and is widely regarded as one of Kenya’s leading interventional cardiologists. He pioneered the first transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure performed in East Africa.
“Everything I am started at Maseno,” Dr. Onyango said. “The discipline, the brotherhood, the values — they shaped me as a doctor and as a man.”
